Abstract

Překlad pramene Vita Anskarii (9. stol.) autora Rimberta, opatřený úvodem autorky překladu a poznámkami. Jde o životopis misionáře evropského severu (Skandinávie). Kniha obsahuje i latinský originál pramene. V úvodu s názvem Ansgar a počátky christianizace Skandinávie popisuje autorka západní a severní Evropu v 9. stol. a význam uvedené pramene pro historiky. Kniha má také exkurz o ediční práci se starými rukopisy a o textové kritice. Obsahuje několik ukázek z dochovaných rukopisů Vita Anskarii.

Abstract (in English)

The monograph consists of the translation of the source Vita Anskarii of Rimbert from the 9th Century in Czech, and the introduction of Jarmila Bednaříková and her commentaries. Vita is a biography of the first missionary of Scandinavia. The book contains the Latin original of Vita, too. In the introduction "Anskar and the beginnings of the Christianity of Scandinavia" the author describes the West and North Europe in the 9th Century and the significance of the nominated source. The book contents also a short text devoted to the editions of old manuscripts and the textual critics in common. We can find there some examples from the surviving manuscripts of the Vita Anskarii.
