Abstract

Während sich die Historische Bildungsforschung zuletzt vermehrt mit der sozial- und ideengeschichtlichen Einordnung des Phänomens der Reformpädagogik beschäftigt hat, leistet Andreas Pehnke mit seinem 712 Seiten umfassenden Buch über den bisher kaum bekannten sächsischen Reformpädagogen und Lehrer Willy Steiger einen Beitrag zur quellenorientierten Auseinandersetzung mit reformpädagogischer Schul- (und Lehrer-)wirklichkeit.

Zatímco historický pedagogický výzkum se v poslední době stále více zabýval společenskou a ideologickou klasifikací fenoménu reformní pedagogiky, kniha Andrease Pehnkeho o 712 stranách o dříve málo známém saském reformním pedagogovi a učiteli Willy Steigerovi přispívá ke zdrojově orientovanému zkoumání reality reformně pedagogické školy (a učitele).

Abstract (in English)

While historical educational research has recently dealt more and more with the social and ideological classification of the phenomenon of reform pedagogy, Andreas Pehnke's 712-page book about the previously little-known Saxon reform pedagogue and teacher Willy Steiger makes a contribution to the source-oriented examination of reform-pedagogical school- (and teacher) reality.
