Abstract

"Neurodegenerativní onemocnění jako Alzheimerova nebo Parkinsonova choroba představují velké strašáky lidstva, a to zejména z důvodu stárnoucí populace ve vyspělých zemích. Jak tyto choroby vznikají? Co bychom mohli dělat, abychom těmto onemocněním předešli? Jakým způsobem můžeme lidem s neurodegenerativním onemocněním pomoct a co říká současná věda? Společně se podíváme na to, jakým způsobem mozek ztrácí neurony. Přednáška byla realizována v rámci projektu CoBeN. "

"Neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease are a major threat to humanity, especially due to the aging population in developed countries. How do these diseases arise? What can we do to prevent these diseases? How can we help people with neurodegenerative diseases and what does current science say? Together we will look at how the brain loses neurons. The lecture was realized within the CoBeN project."
