V rámci diskuzního workshopu řešitelského kolektivu projektu TA ČR - ÉTA: "Institucionalizace metropolitní spolupráce jako faktor ke zvýšení motivace obcí ke spolupráci v metropolitních oblastech" (TL03000230) složeného z pracovníků Ekonomicko-správní fakulty Masarykovy univerzity a aplikačních garantů Oddělní řízení ITI a metropolitní spolupráce Magistrátu města Brna a Ministerstva pro místní rozvoj ČR byl představen současný vývoj meziobecní spolupráce v Brněnské metropolitní oblasti, zahraniční kontext metropolitan governance. Dále byly diskutovány možnosti uplatnění nástrojů meziobecní metropolitní spolupráce a způsoby fungování tzv. metropolitních agentur s ohledem na různé právní formy.

The research team of the project TA ČR - ÉTA: "Institutionalization of metropolitan cooperation as a factor to increase the motivation of municipalities to cooperate in metropolitan areas" (TL03000230) consisting of employees of the Faculty of Economics and Administration of Masaryk University and the Department of ITI Management and application guarantors Metropolitan Cooperation of Brno City Municipality and Ministry for Regional Development of the Czech Republic organized the discussion workshop, where the current development of intermunicipal cooperation in the Brno metropolitan area, as well as the foreign context of metropolitan governance, was presented. Furthermore, the possibilities of applying the tools of intermunicipal metropolitan cooperation and the ways of functioning of the so-called metropolitan agencies concerning various legal forms were discussed.
