Abstract

Ve svém příspěvku jsem se věnovala problematice, na niž jsem se zaměřila již ve své magisterské práci. Po vzniku první Československé republiky byl kladen důraz na utváření národní identity a regionální tiskoviny se zdály být vhodné k posilování národního cítění obyvatelstva. Ve své prezentaci jsem představila spolky a konkrétní osobnosti, které se na jejich vzniku a existenci podíleli. Zaměřila jsem se na dva jazykové ostrovy, Hřebečsko a Jihlavsko. Regiony, jimž jsem se věnovala ve svém výzkumu byly do 40. let 20. století z převážné části německé. Tyto oblasti bývají nazývány jako jazykové ostrovy německy Sprachinsel. Moje pozornost směřovala k Jihlavskému a Hřebečskému jazykovému ostrovu. Na těchto oblastech jsem přiblížila fenomén národopisného regionálního tisku, spolky a osobnosti jež se na jeho utváření podíleli a zejména roli těchto periodik v upevňování etnické identity.

Abstract (in English)

In my contribution I have focused on the issue that I have already addressed in my master's thesis. After the establishment of the first Czechoslovak Republic, emphasis was placed on the formation of national identity and regional presses seemed to be suitable for strengthening the national feeling of the population. In my presentation I introduced the associations and specific personalities who were involved in their creation and existence. I focused on two language islands, Hrebec and Jihlava. The regions I focused on in my research were predominantly German until the 1940s. These areas are called language islands in German Sprachinsel. My attention was directed towards the Jihlava and Hrebec language islands. In these areas, I presented the phenomenon of the ethnographic regional press, the associations and personalities who contributed to its formation, and especially the role of these periodicals in strengthening ethnic identity.
