Abstract

Jaroslav Krejčí (1892–1956) – ústavní právník, soudce, politik, ale též manžel, otec a společenský muž, jehož život byl osudově spojen s těžkým obdobím německé okupace. Původně teoreticky zaměřený Krejčí se zajímal o politiku a již jako student patřil k Masarykovým podporovatelům. Dal se do služeb Československé republiky, nejprve v moravské zemské správě a s nástupem moravského zemského prezidenta Jana Černého do funkce předsedy vlády přešel do Prahy. Zde působil v předsednictvu vlády a jako tajemník Ústavního soudu. V roce 1938 se stává předsedou Ústavního soudu a ministrem spravedlnosti ve vládě Rudolfa Berana. Ministrem zůstává i ve vládě Aloise Eliáše. Po jeho zatčení se ujímá řízení vlády a v lednu 1942 je jmenován předsedou protektorátní vlády. Po válce byl Jaroslav Krejčí za spolupráci s Němci odsouzen k 25 letům vězení. Zemřel v roce 1956 ve výkonu trestu.

Abstract (in English)

Jaroslav Krejčí (1892–1956) - constitutional lawyer, judge, politician, but also husband, father and social man, whose life was fatally connected with a difficult period of German occupation. Originally a theoretically oriented Krejčí, he was interested in politics and already as a student he was one of Masaryk's supporters. He entered the service of the Czechoslovak Republic, first in the Moravian Provincial Administration and with the arrival of the Moravian Provincial President Jan Černý as Prime Minister, he moved to Prague. Here he served in the Prime Minister's Office and as the Secretary of the Constitutional Court. In 1938, he became President of the Constitutional Court and Minister of Justice in the government of Rudolf Beran. He also remains a minister in the government of Alois Eliáš. After his arrest, he took over the government and in January 1942 was appointed Prime Minister of the Protectorate. After the war, Jaroslav Krejčí was sentenced to 25 years in prison for cooperating with the Germans. He died in 1956 while serving his sentence.
