V originále

In the contribution, I have presented the current state of my research on the image of the Netherlands in British Crime fiction, focusing on introducing my methodology, based on the theory of imagology in combination with McGarty et al.'s concept of stereotypes as explanations, and K. Walton's theory on representational arts, and discussed the research questions central to the dissertation.
