Abstract

Příspěvek sleduje případ Elisabeth Hitschigin, která byla roku 1737 obviněna z posmrtné magie. Tato pověra zde posloužila jako sociálněpacifikační nástroj, s jehož pomocí se obec dokázala zbavit nepohodlné osoby a obnovit pořádek v komunitě.

Abstract (in English)

The article traces the case of Elisabeth Hitschigin, who was accused of posthumous magic in 1737. This superstition served here as a social pacification tool, with the help of which the municipality was able to get rid of uncomfortable people and restore order in the community.
