Abstract
Sleep is a vital periodic recurring activity in which deep relaxation occurs. Insomnia is one of several sleep disorders (Morin & Benca, 2012). More than one third of the adult population will experience a short, transitional form in their lifetime, and in another 40%, this transitionalform may develop into a more severe form (Pavlova & Latreille, 2019).The aim of this study was to explore links between personality traits and severity of insomnia during Covid-19 pandemic. MINI-IPIP was used to measure personality traits and ISI to measure severity of insomnia. Our sample consisted of 567 respondents. As expected, significant links between measured insomnia and neuroticism (0,321) and extraversion (-0,180) have been found. Contrary to previous studies no link between agreeableness and insomnia has been found.
