Abstract
The Lund Warming Ramsar Site (LWRS), located in southeastern Brazil, is an area rich in geological and geomorphological features, especially karst formations that are excellent representatives of local geodiversity. However, the Geotourism potential of LWRS has not yet been studied in its full potential. This research aims to perform a spatial analysis of the Geotourism potential of LWRS. The methods used were a quantitative evaluation of sites and the spatialisation of geotourism according to four variables: geodiversity index, visibility, capillarity, and the fragility of the abiotic system. The results indicate a spatial distribution of the Geotourism potential associated with the natural protection areas network and transport infrastructure. It is believed that the results of this analysis can support decisions within the territorial scope of the LWRS, thus safeguarding the healthy functioning of the karst geosystem without giving up the possibility of economic development in the region.
