Abstract

V dannoj rabote provoditsja analiz specifiki narratora v proze russkogo pisatelja L. N. Andrejeva, čto kažetsja neobchodimym dlja ponimanija osobennostej jego tvorčeskogo metoda. Andrejev raskryvajet psichologiju svoich personažej čerez ich reakciju na konkretnuju žiznennuju situaciju. Čašče vsego èto samyj obyčnyj, rjadovoj slučaj, ved’ pisatelja interesujet ne situacija kak takovaja, a imenno povedenije geroja v nej. V svjazi s ètim možno vydelit’ charakternuju dlja Andrejeva čertu izobraženija vnešnego sobytija čerez prizmu individual’nogo, sub”jektivnogo vosprijatija ètogo javlenija personažem. Na osnove analiza ključevych rasskazov pisatelja v dannom issledovanii opredeljajetsja, čto narrator povestvujemych istorij Andrejeva ne prinimajet učastije v dejstvii rasskazov, sochranjajet «ob”jektivnost’» kažuščejsja nezainteresovannost’ju, ne vyražajet svojej točki zrenija otnositel’no sobytij, kotoryje on peredajet, a liš’ ograničivajetsja opisanijem vnešnich faktov, svjazannych s personažami. Imenno takaja pozicija narratora dajet pisatelju vozmožnost’ modelirovat’ i personažej, i ich vnutrennij mir, i sobytija, i modus povestvovanija takim obrazom, čto polučajetsja neskol’ko perspektiv videnija izobražajemogo sobytija, pričem ni odna iz nich ne ozvučena v kačestve «pravil’noj» ili «predpočitajemoj», čto pozvoljajet čitatelju samomu sostavit’ mnenije i otnositel’no situacii, i kasatel’no povedenija gerojev.

Abstract (in English)

This paper analyzes the narrator’s specifics in the prose of the Russian writer L. N. Andreyev, as it seems to be necessary for understanding the peculiarities of his creative method. Andreyev reveals the psychology of his characters through their reactions to a concrete life situation. It is often the common, ordinary case, because the author is not interested in the situation as such, but precisely in the hero’s behavior in it. In this connection we can identify a distinctive feature of Andreyev’s depiction of an external event through the prism of the individual, subjective perception of this phenomenon by character. Based on the analysis of the author's key stories, this study determines that the Andreyev's narrator does not take part in the action. He preserves "objectivity" by means of seeming disinterest; does not express his point of view regarding the events which he conveys, and merely limits himself to describing the external facts related to the characters. This narrator’s position enables the writer to model both the characters and their inner world, the events and the modus of narration allowing to show several perspectives of the events. Besides, none of them announced as “correct” or “preferred”, hence a reader can form his own opinion both on the situation and on the behavior of the characters.
