Abstract

Judith Teixeira. Obras Completas. Lírica (2019, 2ª ed.), na edicao de Martim de Gouveia e Sousa, constitui um marco nos estudos judithianos. Cuidadosamente preparado pelo investigador viseense e pelo excelente trabalho de Edicoes Esgotadas, o volume em apreco destaca-se pelo rigor, sistematizacao, magnífica execucao gráfica e pela sensibilidade tanto na concecao do livro-objeto, como na escolha dos textos incluídos na publicacao. Além do projeto de “completude” da lírica judithiana, é sobretudo no enfoque dos detalhes que a edicao de Martim de Gouveia e Sousa tem primado sobre todas as edicoes precedentes, entre as quais deve ser destacada, além das edicoes originais e das já referidas, a edicao de Poesia e Prosa, organizada por Cláudia Pazos Alonso e Fabio Mario da Silva (Lisboa, Dom Quixote, 2015). Em comparacao com esta edicao, verifica-se, na nova edicao de Gouveia e Sousa, a existencia de procedimentos críticos que visam corrigir erros, justificar lugares duvidosos e completar dados de índole filológica e histórico-literária.

Abstract (in English)

Judith Teixeira. Complete Works. Lyric (2019, 2nd ed.), in the edition by Martim de Gouveia e Sousa, constitutes a milestone in Judithian studies. Carefully prepared by the Viseense researcher and the excellent work of Edições Esgotadas, the volume under consideration stands out for its rigour, systematisation, magnificent graphic execution and for the sensitivity both in the conception of the object-book and in the choice of texts included in the publication. Besides the project of "completeness" of the Judithian lyric, it is the focus on detail that the edition of Martim de Gouveia e Sousa has prevailed over previous editions, among which the edition of Poetry and Prose by Cláudia Pazos Alonso and Fabio Mario da Silva (Lisbon, Dom Quixote, 2015). In comparison with this edition, the new edition by Gouveia and Sousa, the existence of critical procedures that Gouveia e Sousa, there are critical procedures that aim at correcting errors, justifying doubtful places and complete philological and historical-literary data.
