Abstract

Un gruppo di manoscritti miscellanei in volgare genealogicamente molto vicini (il ms. smembrato costituito da Firenze, BNC, Panc. 24 e London, BL, Add. 26772; Paris, BNF, It. 557, copia del precedente; Firenze, BML, Plut. 40.49 e Firenze, BR, 1094, a loro volta copie del Parigino) è già stato studiato in modo approfondito, prima da Michele Barbi e Domenico De Robertis in relazione alla Vita nova e alle Rime di Dante, poi da Giuliano Tanturli e Cristiano Lorenzi Biondi in relazione alla figura del copista noto come «Non bene» e con un approccio strutturale di tipo filologico e codicologico allo stesso tempo. Resta poco da dire. L’articolo si concentra sul ms. Paris, BNF, It. 557 e sulle ultime quattro opere – che non erano presenti nel modello principale e sono tramandate (tranne l’ultima) anche nei due discendenti –, ossia: l’epistolario apocrifo tra Seneca e san Paolo, l’epistola dello pseudo-san Bernardo a Ramondo, un rifacimento dei Fiori e vita di filosafi, e un volgarizzamento dei Disticha Catonis preceduto da un prologo del volgarizzatore.

Abstract (in English)

A bunch of Italian vernacular multi-text manuscripts which are genealogically very close to each other (dismembered MS consisting of Firenze, BNC, Panc. 24 and London, BL, Add. 26772; Paris, BNF, It. 557, its copy; Firenze, BML, Plut. 40.49 and Firenze, BR, 1094, in turn, copies of Paris MS) have already been studied quite deeply, first by Michele Barbi and Domenico De Robertis in connection Dante’s Vita nova and Rime, then by Giuliano Tanturli and Cristiano Lorenzi Biondi in connection with the figure of the scribe known as «Non bene» and through a structural approach both textual and codicological. Little remains to be said. The article focuses on MS Paris, BNF, It. 557 and the last four works – which were not in the main model and transmitted (apart from the last item) also in the two descendants –, namely: the apocryphal epistulary between Seneca and st Paul, pseudo-st Bernard’s epistle to Ramondo, a remake of the Fiori e vita di filosafi, and a vernacular version of the Disticha Catonis preceeded by a prologue of the translator.
