Abstract
The presentation aimed to study the development of academic interest in Armenian medieval art by part of Italian scholars between the 19th and 20th century, with particular focus on the figures of the venetian priest Giuseppe Cappelletti (1802–1876) and Giovanni Teresio Rivoira (1849–1919).
