Inhibitors of HDAC (HDACI), which form a complex with Zn2+ ions in the active site of enzymes, are novel anticancer agents that induce tumor cell death, differentiation, and/or cell cycle arrest. We have designed and synthesized a series of N-hydroxycinnamamide derivates based on common HDAC`s pharmacophore with diversely substituted anilides. ER -
