The Keeled Plump Bush-cricket (Isophya costata) is included in the EU – Habitats directive. It reaches its northwestern-most range limit in Austria, in the Weinviertel, where its largest population occurs in the Natura 2000 site “Weinviertler Klippen-zone”. The first occurrences were discovered there in 2000 (Buschberg) and 2003 (Michelberg), and targeted surveys in suitable habitats eventually took place in the entire Natura 2000 area in 2017 and 2018. No further records were found outside the known area of occurrence. The population on the Buschberg does not appear endan-gered at the moment, provided that current grassland management practices and the late cutting date (ideally after 1 July) are maintained.

Kobylka širočelá (Isophya costata) je zahrnuta do směrnice EU – biotopy. Své nejseverozápadnější hranice rozšíření dosahuje v Rakousku, ve Weinviertelu, kde se její největší populace vyskytují na lokalitách Natura 2000 „Weinviertler Klippen-zone“. První výskyty zde byly zaznamenány v letech 2000 (Buschberg) a 2003 (Michelberg), cílené průzkumy ve vhodných biotopech nakonec proběhly na celém území Natura 2000 v letech 2017 a 2018. Mimo známou oblast výskytu však nebyly nalezeny žádní další jedinci. Populace na Buschbergu se v tuto chvíli nejeví být ohrožena, za předpokladu, že budou zachovány současné postupy obhospodařování trávníků a pozdní termín sečení (ideálně po 1. červenci).
