Abstract

Následující článek se zabývá právním aspektem a pečetní praxí na poli raně novověké sfragistiky. Zaobírá se přiznávacími berními listy olomouckého berního kraje v letech 1583–1602, které nabízejí obrovské množství pečetí šlechty (vyšší i nižší) a měšťanů. Pro každou právní úpravu je použit konkrétní příklad užití pečeti ve významu ověření berních listů. Samotné berní listy ilustrují každodenní užití pečeti a poukazují na odchylky od obecného úzu. To je viditelné především v záležitosti dožádání cizí pečeti, které může být provedeno transparentně či tajně, přičemž je důležité nalézt vztah mezi vydavatelem a pečetitelem.

Abstract (in English)

The following article deals with legal aspects and sealing practice in the field of modern sphragistics. It examines tax letters from the region of Olomouc between 1583 and 1602, which offer a large number of seals from the nobility (major and minor) and the bourgeoisie. Each legal regulation has its specific seal that is related to the means of verification in the tax letters. The tax letters themselves illustrate the everyday use of the seal and display deviations from generally observed practice. This is evident especially in the matter of requesting somebody else’s seal, which could be done transparently or secretly, and it is necessary to find the relation between the publisher and the owner of the seal.
