Abstract
V originále
The Vasulka Live Archive website is the main outcomes of a three-year project supported by TA ČR, which aims to process and mediate the audiovisual work of video art pioneers Steina and Woody Vasulka. A specially designed web includes two unique interfaces that functionally mediate the results of the content analysis of the Vasulkas video archive using specially trained artificial neural networks (machine learning). It is a unique analytical tool combining both human and machine epistemologies to explore the syntax of electronic and digital devices Vasulkas used in their work.
