Abstract

Avtor nastojaščej staťji issledujet personaž Leopoľda v novom rom,ane Michala Vuivega v seti personažej jego predšestvujuščich romanov. Pisateľ v romane o Leopoľde rešajet ne politiku, problémy mužčin i ženščin, mužej i žen, polovoj promiskuitet, a, prežde vsego, neuderžimoje starenije i postojannuju podderžku postepenno gasnuščej seksuaľnosti. Leopoľd – eto anatomija i fiziologija čeloveka Centraľnoj Jevropy, kotoryj po svojemzu vsegda sgtremistja k poiskam novych oputej, k načalu novych epoch, k predvoschiščřeniju novych idej i k formirovaniju nmobvych ljduej v izmenennych uslovijach. Viveg – uže po svojej kvazipostmodernistskoj poetike, opoisvoium krajnim vzgljadam i jazykovy i stilevym izobretenijam – otnositsja, pustů skryto ili otkrovenno, k mogučemu potoku nejasnojk, tumannoj, ambiuvlentnoj cebntraľnojevropejskoj literatzury.

Abstract (in Czech)

Autor přítomné stati zkoumá postavu Leopolda v novém románu Michala Viewegha v síti postav jeho předcházejících románů. Spisovatel v románu o Leopoldovi řeší nikoli politiku, problémy mužů a žen, manželů a manželek, pohlavní promiskuitu, ale především nezadržitelné stárnutí a stálou podporu povlovně hasnoucí sexuality. Leopold je anatomie a fyziologie člověka střední Evropy, který po svém směřuje k hledání nových cest, k počátku nových epoch, k anticipaci nových idejí a k utváření nových lidí ve změněných podmínkách. Viewegh již svou kvázipostmodernistickou poetikou a svými krajními názory a jazykovými a stylovými objevy – patří, ať již skrytě nebo otevřeně, k mohutnému proudu nejasné, mlhavé, ambivalentní středoevropské literatury.

Abstract (in English)

The author of the present study investigates the character of Leopold in the new novel by Michal Viewegh in the net of the characters of his preceding novels. In this novel, the writer does not discuss politics, the problem of men and women, husbands and wives, and the sexual promiscuity, but, above all, unstoppable aging and permanent support of the gradually waning sexuality. Leopold – this is the anatomy and physiology of a Central European who – in his own manner – has always aimed at searching new ways, at the beginning of new epochs, at the anticipation of new ideas and at the formation of new humans under the changed conditions. Viewegh – already in his quasipostmodernist poetics, and due to his extreme opinions and language and style inventions – belongs, no matter how covertly or openly, to the mighty stream of unclear, vague, ambivalent Central European literature.
