Abstract

Comment l’enseignement de la littérature et la lecture des textes littéraires permettent-ils d’améliorer la compréhension écrite des élèves du FLE ? Comment les enseignants peuvent-ils intégrer et promouvoir la « lecture pour plaisir » dans leurs classes de FLE ? Ce sont des questions qui orientent la présente recherche autour du terme de « lire comme activité de loisir » (trouvant plus explicitement dans le Volume complémentaire du Cadre Européen commun de référence pour les langues (2018)).La notion est fréquemment utilisée par nombreux enseignants des langues étrangères, mais elle n’est ni proprement expliquée ni formellement ancrée dans des guides pédagogiques. Par conséquent, l’objectif de la contribution était d’analyser et de comparer quelques recherches récentes sur cette activité et son influence sur la compréhension écrite dans les langues étrangères, notamment en français.

Jak výuka literatury a četby literárních textů pomáhá rozvíjet porozumění textu u studentů francouzštiny jako cizího jazyka? Jak mohou učitelé zapojit a podporovat „čtení pro zábavu“ ve svých hodinách francouzštiny? Na tyto otázky hledá odpověď současný výzkum zabývající se pojmem „čtení pro zábavu“ (který je konkrétněji uveden v Doplňku Společného evropského referenčního rámce pro jazyky (2018)). Tento pojem je často používán mnoha učiteli cizích jazyků, ale není ani řádně vysvětlen, ani formálně zakotven v metodických příručkách pro učitele. Cílem příspěvku bylo analyzovat a porovnat některé nedávné výzkumy zabývající se tímto pojmem a jeho vlivem na porozumění psanému textu v cizích jazycích, zejména ve francouzštině.

Abstract (in English)

How does the teaching of literature and reading of literary texts improve the written comprehension of FSL students? How can teachers integrate and promote “reading for pleasure” in their FSL classes? These are the questions that guide the present research around the term "reading for pleasure" (finding more explicitly in the Complementary Volume of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (2018)). The term is frequently used by many teachers of foreign languages, but it is neither properly explained nor formally anchored in teachers' guides. Consequently, the objective of this contribution was to analyze and compare some recent research on this topic and its influence on written comprehension in foreign languages, particularly in French.
