Obsahem knihy jsou komentované české překlady 14 rekomendací (promočních řečí) M. Jana Husa, pronesených v letech 1398–1410 na artistické fakultě pražské univerzity. Doprovodné studie jsou věnovány rukopisnému dochování těchto textů, jejich argumentační výbavě a dále výuce na pražské artistické fakultě v daném období, zejména v oblasti filozofie a gramatiky.

This book contains annotated Czech translations of 14 recommendation speeches (graduation speeches) delivered by M. Jan Hus at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Prague between 1398 and 1410. The translations are preceded by four studies on the transmission of the manuscripts, the speeches’ argumentative structure, and the curriculum at the Faculty of Arts in Prague at the time, with a special focus on philosophy and grammar.
