This publication is offered to foreign student as a support for practice from subjects Spectacle technique and technology. Every publication contains 14 exercises which deals with important topics from optical and optometrist practice. Students will learn how to measure pupillary distance for far and near, how to center spherical spectacle lens and what is the different in centration of aspherical lens. The last but not least are also topic focused on measuring and centration of multifocal lenses, i.e. bifocal, trifocal, progressive and degressive lenses. Students will measure also spectacle parameters which is for example spectacle center widths called frame size, or rim size, pantoscopic angle, wrap angle, vertex distance etc. We will work with different types of lensmeter – with ocular lensmeter, projection lensmeter and automatic (digital) lensmeter.
