Abstract

Výsledek tvoří tři krátké filmy představující tematiku obnovy výmladkových lesů formou srozumitelnou širokému publiku. První s názvem Co jsou výmladkové lesy? přístupně představuje tento typ lesů širší veřejnosti. Druhý (Pestrost přírody a další přínosy výmladkových lesů) se zaměřuje na přínosy výmladkových lesů z hlediska biodiverzity i širší krajinné ekologie. Třetí (Pařezení jako příležitost v krizi lesů a lesnictví) diskutuje potenciál výmladkových lesů v rámci řešení současné krize lesného hospodaření v České republice a v kontextu budoucích dopadů změny klimatu. Krátké filmy byly zveřejněné na portále Youtube.

Abstract (in English)

The result consists of three short films presenting the theme of regeneration of coppices in a form understandable to a wide audience. The first, called What are coppices? introduces this type of forest to the general public. The second (Nature diversity and other benefits of coppices) focuses on the benefits of coppices in terms of biodiversity and wider landscape ecology. The third (Coppicing as an opportunity in the crisis of forests and forestry) discusses the potential of coppices in solving the current crisis of forest management in the Czech Republic and in the context of future impacts of climate change. The short films were published on the Youtube portal.
