Abstract

Le système orthographique du français n’est pas cohérent parce qu’il résulte de l’histoire compliquée de la langue française. Dans notre cours nous nous concentrerons d’une part sur l’aspect diachronique pour expliquer pourquoi il y a tant de particularités orthographiques, d’autre part nous adopterons une approche synchronique pour remarquer certaines tendances de l’orthographe et de la prononciation du français contemporain par rapport au lexique spécifique ou d’origine étrangère.

Abstract (in Czech)

Pravopisný systém francouzštiny není konzistentní, protože vyplývá ze složité historie francouzského jazyka. V našem kurzu se zaměříme jednak na diachronní aspekt, abychom vysvětlili, proč existuje tolik pravopisných zvláštností, jednak na synchronní přístup, abychom si všimli určitých tendencí pravopisu a výslovnosti současné francouzštiny ve vztahu ke specifické slovní zásobě nebo cizího původu.

Abstract (in English)

The spelling system of French is not consistent because it results from the complicated history of the French language. In our course we will focus on the one hand on the diachronic aspect to explain why there are so many orthographic peculiarities, on the other hand we will adopt a synchronic approach to notice certain tendencies of the spelling and pronunciation of contemporary French in relation to the specific lexicon or of foreign origin.
