Abstract

Kritika českého překladu díla Paula Diacona Dějiny Langobardů. Překlad hodnocen jako vynikající, k úvaze předloženo skloňování germánských jmen, která jsou v latině substantivy III. dekl., v českém textu, a doplnění některých historických informací v komentářích k překladu, např. o rozdílných obsazích titulu patricius v Paulově spisu, nebo o tzv. origines gentium.

Abstract (in English)

The review of the first translation of the work of Paul Deacon (8th Century) the History of Lombards. The translation is evaluated as excellent, but it would be very useful to add some historical informations to the commentaries, f. e. about the various significance of the title patricius in Paulus work or about the so calle Origines gentium. The declension of some Germanic names and the Czech declension of the Latine substantives od III. decl. is here sometimes quite disputable.
