Volba smíšeného výzkumného designu v rámci disertačního projektu s sebou může nést řadu rizik, neboť tento výzkumný design typicky předpokládá spolupráci širšího výzkumného týmu. Přednáška proto poskytuje přehled typů smíšeného designu a u každého z nich upozorňuje na jeho nástrahy.

The choice of a mixed research design within a dissertation project can carry several risks as this research design typically involves the collaboration of a research team. This presentation, therefore, provides an overview of the types of mixed design and highlights the pitfalls of each.
