Abstract
Článok poskytuje stručný úvod do problematiky úzko súvisiacej s budovaním novopohanskej identity - konceptu národa a rasy. V úvode článok sleduje korene novopohanského diskurzu o rase až do obdobia romantizmu.
Abstract (in English)
Contemporary Paganism, Patriotism, and Nationalism The article provides a brief introduction to the issues closely related to the construction of Neo-Pagan identity - the concept of nation and race. In the introduction, the article traces the roots of the Neo-Pagan discourse on race to the Romantic era. It then turns its attention to the Anglo-American milieu in which Neo-Paganism developed, especially before the fall of the Iron Curtain. The final (and longest) section examines the place of nation and race in the construction of modern pagan identity in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
