Based on an interdisciplinary approach, this poster presentation has pointed out how music can add to the knowledge of processing of meaning of any sign system, especially of the understanding of meaningful language representation. The special relationship between music and language as well as their evolutionary and structural affinities have been highlighted. The evidence for the interactions of musical and linguistic concepts has been summarized.
