Abstract

Dějiny umění hrají v současné společnosti druhořadou roli. Proč je tomu tak? Jedním z důvodů je beze sporu fakt, že oproti minulosti, je tento obor méně užitečný vládnoucím režimům. Zásadní je však i změna vzdělávacího systému, který na středoškolské úrovni nepodporuje kvalitní studium humanitních oborů. Podle mého soudu je řešením krom směrem ke středním školám a veřejnosti pro kterou mají dnes obrazy klíčový význam.

Abstract (in English)

Art history plays a secondary role in contemporary society. Why is this so? One reason is undoubtedly the fact that, compared to the past, this field is less useful to ruling regimes. However, the change in the educational system, which does not support the quality study of the humanities at the secondary school level, is also fundamental. In my opinion, the solution, to invest our self in the direction of secondary schools and the public for whom images are of key importance today, is.
