Abstract
I provide an overview of current state of research on case morphology, focussing on syncretism and what it can tell us about the meaning of case. The talk then zooms in on spatial case and its extension to temporal expressions, based on the idea that spatial/temporal expressions represent the application of abstract case meanings to different ontological categories.
