Abstract
A newly developed high dose rate gamma detector is presented. A high dose rate meter is built as a unique system employing the silica optical fiber to transfer radiation from the detector to the fiber radiation probe. This system allows the measurement of high kerma dose rates up to 100 Gy/h for a long distance of up to 30 m.
