In wide-ranging research programme the United Nations Research Institute in Social Development (UNRISD) in Geneva has been carried out comparative research on social consequences of changes in ownership of industrial enterprises (interrelated changes in the production programmes, internal organization, organizational culture, legitimacy of transformation of ownership as seen by employer, employees, and trade union.
