Abstract

V roce kapitulací Třetí říše v Evropě a Japonska v Asii a Pacifiku skončila největší válka dějin lidstva. Většina světové populace to uvítala různými proklamacemi, že žádná další už nebude. Většina. Několik klíčových aktérů si však uvědomovalo, že další na řadě, a možná už dost brzy, bude válka ideologií. A zatímco se političtí představitelé čtveřice vítězných velmocí, Británie, Francie, SSSR a USA, stále tvářili jako blízcí přátelé, tak v podhoubí jejich zpravodajských služeb se postupně rozjížděli přípravy na neuvěřitelné čtyři dekády špionáže, státních převratů, jaderného zastrašování a velmi brutálního šíření „správného“ světonázoru.

Abstract (in English)

In the year of the surrender of the Third Reich in Europe and Japan in Asia and the Pacific, the greatest war in human history ended. Most of the world's population greeted it with various proclamations that there would be no more. Most. However, a few key players were aware that next up, and perhaps soon enough, would be a war of ideologies. And while the political leaders of the quartet of victorious powers, Britain, France, the USSR and the USA, still pretended to be close friends, in the underbelly of their intelligence services, preparations were gradually being set in motion for an incredible four decades of espionage, coups, nuclear intimidation and the very brutal dissemination of the 'correct' worldview.
