Abstract
This paper analyzed the basic functions of colors in the evolution of Inner Asian societies. Use in four types of functions was focused: 1) on ethnopolitical identification, 2) on hierarchical and social stratification, 3) on banners in the military, 4) on religious contexts of colors especially in case or royal clothes. Cognitive fixation on colors in sport was used as an inspiration for presentation of social and ritually shared emotions on the video-example of religious procession accompanying Buddhist incarnated saint bearing yellow dress during his official enthronization.
