One of the most important outcomes of the HEPAS project included the development of a complex theoretical model, which is the main focus of this paper. The HEPAS model includes the dimensions and layers that represent the functions and environment of a school from the PA promotion perspective. These dimensions are: 1.). The dimensions are both surrounded and influenced by the social climate and the physical environment. Finally, the model includes an overarching aim of supporting students' physical activity/health behaviours and important considerations are also discussed. ER -
