Abstract

Der vorliegende Artikel beschäftigt sich mit der Rolle der Sprachmittlung als Hochschulkurs im Rahmen des Lehramtsstudiums für Deutsch als Fremdsprache. Das Ziel des Beitrags ist es, das Konzept der Sprachmittlungskurse, die am Lehrstuhl für deutsche Sprache und Literatur der Pädagogischen Fakultät der Masaryk-Universität in Brünn (Tschechien) angeboten werden, zu beschreiben und die Ergebnisse einer qualitativ ausgerichteten Evaluationsforschung zusammenfassend darzustellen. Die Daten wurden durch die Methode der Fokusgruppe gewonnen und anschließend mithilfe einer thematischen Analyse ausgewertet. Die Ergebnisse bzw. die Aussagen der Studierenden beziehen sich grundsätzlich auf vier Themenbereiche: Inhalt des Kurses, Kompetenz- und Strategienentwicklung, Methodik und Organisation und schließlich weiterführende Anregungen. Aus der Untersuchung ergab sich unter anderem, dass Sprachmittlung als Hochschulkurs im Lehramtsstudium DaF aus der Sicht der Studierende eine wesentliche Rolle bei der Entwicklung ihrer produktiven Sprachfertigkeiten spielt, sich positiv auf ihre Motivation auswirkt und sie zum sprachbewussten Umgang mit der Erst- sowie Fremdsprache anregt. Die Autorin möchte mit ihrem Beitrag zeigen, dass es aus diversen (im Beitrag näher betrachteten) Gründen sinnvoll und innovativ ist, Sprachmittlung in den universitären Kontext einzubeziehen und ihr Potenzial im Rahmen von sprachpraktischen sowie von methodisch-didaktisch ausgerichteten Kursen weiterzuentwickeln.

Tento článek se zabývá úlohou jazykové mediace jakožto studijního předmětu v rámci vysokoškolské přípravy budoucích učitelů němčiny. Cílem článku je popsat koncepci kurzů jazykové mediace nabízených na Katedře německého jazyka a literatury Pedagogické fakulty Masarykovy univerzity v Brně a shrnout výsledky kvalitativně orientovaného evaluačního výzkumu. Data byla získána metodou ohniskových skupin a následně vyhodnocena pomocí tematické analýzy. Výsledky, resp. výpovědi studentů se v zásadě vztahují ke čtyřem tematickým okruhům: obsah kurzu, rozvoj kompetencí a strategií, metodika a organizace a další náměty. Studie mimo jiné ukázala, že jazyková mediace jakožto vysokoškolský kurz v rámci přípravy učitelů němčiny hraje z pohledu studentů zásadní roli v rozvoji produktivních jazykových dovedností, má pozitivní vliv na jejich motivaci a podněcuje je k používání jejich prvního jazyka a cizího jazyka s vysokou úrovní jazykového povědomí. Autorka by svým příspěvkem chtěla ukázat, že z různých důvodů (podrobněji v článku) má smysl a je inovativní zařadit jazykovou mediaci do vysokoškolského kontextu a rozvíjet její potenciál v rámci kurzů, které jsou jak prakticky, tak metodologicky a didakticky zaměřené.

Abstract (in English)

The present article deals with the role of Language Mediation as a university course within the framework of the teacher training programme German as a Foreign Language. The aim of the article is to describe the concept of Language Mediation courses offered at the Department of German Language and Literature at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic and to summarize the results of qualitatively oriented evaluation research. The data were obtained using the focus group method and then evaluated by means of a thematic analysis. The results or the students' statements basically refer to four thematic areas: course content, competence and strategy development, methodology and organization and further suggestions. The study showed, among other things, that Language Mediation as a university course within the teacher training programme German as a Foreign Language plays an essential role from the students' perspective in the development of productive language skills, has a positive effect on their motivation and encourages them to use their first language and foreign language with a high level of language awareness. With her contribution, the author would like to show that for various reasons (considered in more detail in the article) it makes sense and is innovative to include Language Mediation in the university context and to develop its potential within the framework of courses that are both practical and methodologically and didactically oriented.
