Abstract
In the last decades, increased interest in imaging of elements/metals/proteins distribution, mainly in pharmaceutical, biomedicine research, or life science with application to specific problems/diseases. The main emphasis of this paper is to demonstrate LA-ICP-MS as a unique method that opens new opportunities to achieve simultaneous determination of elements and proteins. These proteins are imaged by utilizing antibody labelling by nanoparticles. Therefore, it can be obtained comprehensive metalloproteomics information about diseases, in this case, cancer or brain stroke.
