Čtyři nejčastější z nich t(8;21), t(15;17), inv(16) a 11q23, které lze nalézt u 40-45% dětí s AML, je možno detekovat na molekulární úrovni s vysokou citlivostí. Molekulárně-genetickým vyšetřením pacientů s AML lze tyto přestavby sledovat i při poklesu počtu leukemických buněk pod hladinu detekovatelnosti klasickými vyšetřovacími technikami. ER -
