Abstract

Účelem tohoto textu je v prvé části naznačit, které z dopadů pandemie COVID-19 na Znojemsku v současnosti (červen 2022) přetrvávají a je třeba je řešit, a to i v kontextu očekávaného zhoršení ekonomické situace domácností. V druhé části textu soustředíme pozornost na problematiku zvyšování cen energií a inflace, a to zejména ve vztahu k nejvíce ohroženým sociálním skupinám. Prezentovány jsou nástroje a strategie, jejichž smyslem je ochránit zmíněné sociální skupiny před výrazně negativními ekonomickými a sociálními dopady rychlého růstu cen energií a zvyšování inflace. Obě části jsou zakončeny návrhy doporučení či opatření, jež by město Znojmo mohlo přijmout pro co možná nejefektivnější řešení jak přetrvávajících dopadů koronavirové pandemie, tak i aktuálně vzniklých obtíží spojených s růstem cen energií a zvyšováním inflačních tlaků na domácnosti.

Abstract (in English)

The purpose of this text, in the first part, is to indicate which of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on Znojmo currently (June 2022) persists and need to be addressed, including in the context of the expected worsening of the economic situation of households. In the second part of the text, we will focus on the issue of rising energy prices and inflation, especially in relation to the most vulnerable social groups. Tools and strategies are presented, the purpose of which is to protect the mentioned social groups from the significantly negative economic and social impacts of the rapid increase in energy prices and rising inflation. Both parts are concluded with proposals for recommendations or measures that the city of Znojmo could take for the most effective possible solution to both the ongoing effects of the coronavirus pandemic and the currently arising difficulties associated with rising energy prices and increasing inflationary pressures on households.
