Abstract

Beseda s překladatelkou Ladou Weissovou o tvorbě J. Saramaga v kontextu portugalské prózy na přelomu 20. a 21. století. V debatě se také probírala problematika překladu, výběru děl, překladu názvů. Ve středu pozornosti byly romány "Slepota" a "Putování jednoho slona".

Abstract (in English)

A discussion with translator Lada Weissová on the work of J. Saramago in the context of Portuguese prose at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. The debate also focused on the issues of translation, selection of works, translation of titles (especially in novels "Blindness" and "The Wanderings of an Elephant".
