Abstract

*PredictSNP Onco 1.0 je jedinečný web server pro analýzu vlivu mutací na proteiny, které jsou často měněny v různých typech rakoviny. Server je navržen tak, aby vyhodnotil dopad mutací na sekvenční a strukturní vlastnosti proteinu a použil virtuální skríning k identifikaci potenciálních inhibitorů s využitím strategie znovupoužití léčiv pro možnou léčbu. PredictSNP Onco využívá k predikci nejmodernější výpočetní nástroje ve spojení s informacemi získanými ze zavedených a spolehlivých databází. Server je volně dostupný pro lékařskou komunitu na https://loschmidt.chemi.muni.cz/predictsnp-onco.

Abstract (in English)

*PredictSNP Onco 1.0 is a unique web server for the analysis of the effects of mutations on proteins that are frequently altered in various cancer types. The server is designed to assess the impact of mutations on the sequential and structural properties of a protein and apply a virtual screening method to identify potential inhibitors using the drug repurposing strategy for possible treatment. PredictSNP Onco relies on predictions of state-of-the-art computational tools combined with information obtained from established and reliable databases. The server is freely available for the medical community at https://loschmidt.chemi.muni.cz/predictsnp-onco.
