Abstract

To elucidate the mental “seeing” of a story world and experiencing mental imagery, the contribution focuses on the mimetic HP in scenic narrative. It illuminates the immersive potential and ability of the literary device to re-enact past events as if occurring before readersʼ eyes in the form of representation, in cognitive terms.

Pro objasnění mentálního "vidění" světa příběhu a prožívání mentálních obrazů se příspěvek zaměřuje na mimetický HP ve scénickém vyprávění. Osvětluje imerzivní potenciál a schopnost tohoto literárního prostředku znovuprožívání minulých událostí, které jako by se odehrávaly před očima čtenářeʼ v podobě reprezentace, v kognitivní rovině.
