Abstract

The speech explores a potential for combining dance history and theory and dance pedagogy in practice. It is based on the concept of kinaesthetic history and is intended to offer possible ways of connecting theater theorists with dance practice and, conversely, to bring dance theory and history closer to dancers. The practice of the movement experienced on one's own body contributes to a greater understanding of a dance performance or dance technique. Theoretical concepts, on the other hand, bring depth to dance practice and techniques, expand the creative possibilities of dancers, anchor them in their field, and provide freedom through defined boundaries.

Abstract (in Czech)

Příspěvek je snahou o propojení taneční historie a teorie a taneční pedagogiky. Má nabídnout některé metody, jimiž se lze vydat jednak v rámci výuky dějin tancem, ale i na poli praktické výuky tance s využitím tanečních dějin. Vlastní fyzický zážitek velmi pomáhá nejen k pochopení pohybových principů choreografického díla či taneční techniky. Teoretické koncepty naopak vnášejí do taneční praxe a technik hloubku, rozšiřují kreativní možnosti tanečníků, ukotvují je ve svém oboru a dávají svobodu v předem ohraničeném poli. Nabízené cesty jsou inspirovány konceptem/metodou kinestetické historie, která je jakožto teoretický základ aplikovatelná jak na opakované uvádění již jednou vzniklých inscenací, tak na edukativní procesy v teoretických i praktických předmětech
