Abstract

Digitální knihovna Filozofické fakulty Masarykovy univerzity (DK FF MU) je budována od roku 2009 jako fakultní plnotextová databáze, která zpřístupňuje výsledky akademického bádání ve formě časopisů, sborníků i monografií v režimu volného přístupu. Ve své kategorii se řadí k důležitým informačním zdrojům, jehož význam přesahuje hranice fakulty i univerzity. Po více než deseti letech její existence nazrál čas na technologický upgrade databáze, ke kterému došlo v posledních dvou letech. I když změna proběhla primárně „na pozadí“, ovlivnila i funkce, strukturu a vzhled systému. Výsledkem přerodu je nejen nová podoba DK FF MU, ale i množství impulzů pro další obsahový rozvoj této fakultní platformy.

Abstract (in English)

The Digital Library of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University (DK FF MU) has been built since 2009 as a faculty full-text database that makes the results of academic research available in the form of journals, proceedings and monographs in free access mode. In its category, it ranks among the important information resources whose significance goes beyond the borders of the faculty and the university. After more than ten years of its existence, the time was ripe for a technological upgrade of the database, which has taken place in the last two years. Although the change was primarily "in the background", it also affected the functionality, structure and appearance of the system. The result of the redesign is not only a new look of the MU Faculty of Arts DK, but also a number of impulses for further content development of this faculty platform.
