Abstract

Der Wein gehört seit Urzeiten zur europäischen Geschichte und Kultur. Er war immer ein Teil des Lebens nicht nur der gesellschaftlichen Eliten. Er verbindet die Geschichte der traditionellen Agrargesellschaften des Mittelalters und der frühen Neuzeit mit der Moderne. Die Kultivierung des Weins hat die sozialen und kulturellen Strukturen sowie die demografischen und anthropologischen Verhältnisse entschieden beeinflusst und in beträchtlichem Maße zu den gegenseitigen Beziehungen der ethnischen Gruppen und Nationen in Mitteleuropa (einschließlich Deutschen, Österreicher, Liechtensteiner und Tschechen) beigetragen. Die Konferenz „In vino cultura“ wird sich mit der Geschichte des Weins in Mitteleuropa mit Hilfe sozial-historischer und anthropologischer Methoden befassen. An der Veranstaltung wird sich die Tschechisch-slowakisch-deutsche, die Tschechisch-liechtensteinische und die Tschechisch-österreichische Kommission von Historikern beteiligen. Damit umfasst sie eine geografische Region von Südmähren, Niederösterreich und südwestlicher Slowakei, darüber hinaus wird auch ein breiter „gesamteuropäischer“ Umfang erwartet, vor allem die liechtensteinisch-deutsche Rheinregion. Im Rahmen dieser Konferenz werden 16 Referate (von jeweils ca. 25 Minuten mit nachfolgender Diskussion) erwartet; auch ein abendlicher öffentlicher Vortrag ist vorgesehen. Die Konferenzsprache ist deutsch, eventuell englisch, der öffentliche Vortrag wird ins Tschechische übersetzt.

Víno přináleží k evropským dějinám a kultuře po celé dlouhé trvání její existence. Vždy bylo součástí životů společenských elit i lidí žijících na okraji společnosti. Spojuje dějiny tradiční agrární společnosti středověku a raného novověku s dějinami moderní doby. Pěstování vína zásadním způsobem ovlivnilo sociální i kulturní struktury, demografické a antropologické poměry a do značné míry se dotýkalo vzájemných vztahů národů a etnických skupin žijících ve střední Evropě, včetně Němců, Rakušanů, Lichtenštejnců a Čechů. Konference „In vino cultura“ se bude zabývat dějinami vína ve střední Evropě především prostřednictvím sociáněhistorických a antropologických metod. Na jejím uspořádání se podílí Česko-slovensko- německá, Česko-lichtenštejnská a Česko-rakouská komise historiků, což avizuje geografický záběr do prostoru mezi jižní Moravou, Dolními Rakousy a jihozápadním Slovenskem, vzhledem k předpokládaným příspěvkům je ovšem očekáván také širší „celoevropský“ geografický záběr, především do německého a lichtenštejnského Porýní. Organizátoři předpokládají v rámci konference 16 referátů v délce cca 20 minut s následnou diskusí, součástí bude také večerní veřejná přednáška. Jednací řečí konference bude němčina, popř. angličtina, v případě veřejné přednášky se počítá s tlumočením do češtiny.

Abstract (in English)

Wine has been part of European history and culture since time immemorial. It has always been a part of life, not only for the social elites. It connects the history of the traditional agrarian societies of the Middle Ages and early modern times with modernity. The cultivation of wine has decisively influenced social and cultural structures as well as demographic and anthropological conditions, and has contributed considerably to the mutual relations of ethnic groups and nations in Central Europe (including Germans, Austrians, Liechtensteiners and Czechs). The conference "In vino cultura" will deal with the history of wine in Central Europe using socio-historical and anthropological methods. The Czech-Slovak-German, Czech-Liechtenstein and Czech-Austrian Commissions of Historians will participate in the event. It will thus cover a geographical region of southern Moravia, Lower Austria and south-western Slovakia; in addition, a broad "pan-European" scope is also expected, especially the Liechtenstein-German Rhine region. During this conference, 16 papers (of about 25 minutes each followed by a discussion) are expected; an evening public lecture is also planned.
