Abstract

Jaké byly kulturní a společenské trendy roku 2002? A co řešila tehdejší umělecká scéna? Co nám řekne tato cesta časem o současnosti? Retro party na dvorku TIC u příležitosti festivalu vizuálního umění Brno Art Week. Festival každoročně pořádá TIC Brno a Katedra výtvarné výchovy PedF MUNI ve spolupráci s brněnskými galeriemi, muzei a vysokými školami. Součástí festivalového programu jsou výstavy, performance, workshopy, konference, komentované procházky, přednášky a další aktivity, které cílí na uměleckou i širokou veřejnost, rodiny s dětmi i školní skupiny. Cílem festivalu je iniciovat a rozvíjet dlouhodobý vztah mezi galeriemi a jejich návštěvníky a současnými a atraktivními formami zprostředkovávat umění. Součástí akce je performance swap oblečení Šimona Kříže a Barbory Herichové.

Abstract (in English)

What were the cultural and social trends of 2002? And what did the art scene deal with at the time? What does this journey through time tell us about the present? Retro party in the TIC backyard on the occasion of the visual art festival Brno Art Week. The festival is organized annually by TIC Brno and the Department of Art Education PedF MUNI in cooperation with Brno galleries, museums and universities. The festival program includes exhibitions, performances, workshops, conferences, guided walks, lectures and other activities aimed at artists and the general public, families with children and school groups. The goal of the festival is to initiate and develop a long-term relationship between galleries and their visitors and to mediate art in contemporary and attractive forms. Part of the event is a performance swap of clothing by Šimon Kříž and Barbora Herichová.
