Abstract

Kde se nacházíme, co prožíváme, kde chceme být, o čem chceme snít. Výstava Moje místo prezentuje klauzurní práce žáků studujících fotografický ateliér na Střední škole uměleckomanažerské. Vystavené fotografie nejsou pouhou snahou o prezentaci a reflexi místa. Samotné zamýšlení se nad tématem a následná reinterpretace vytváří z každého celku svébytnou práci s osobitou hodnotou. Primární snahou je hledání vztahu k něčemu, co nám připadá zdánlivě tak samozřejmé, že naše pozornost může ve vleku všednosti ztrácet svoji bystrost.

Abstract (in English)

Where we are, what we experience, where we want to be, what we want to dream about. The My Place exhibition presents the cloistered works of students studying at the photography studio at the Secondary School of Art Management. The exhibited photos are not just an effort to present and reflect the place. The very thinking about the topic and the subsequent reinterpretation creates a unique work with a special value from each unit. The primary effort is to find a relationship to something that seems so self-evident to us that our attention can lose its sharpness in the drag of the mundane.
