Abstract

Období vlády Lucemburků na českém trůnu se vyznačuje množstvím literárních památek různých žánrů, a to z důvodu rozmachu staročeské literární produkce v průběhu 14. století. Středověcí autoři se při tvorbě svých děl řídili ustálenými pravidly, která se projevovala nejen v rámci jednotlivých literárních žánrů, ale také na typu jednotlivých líčených postav. Studie se zaměřuje na světské postavy žen a jejich možné způsoby označení, to vše s důrazem na panny, manželky a vdovy. Právě u těchto kategorií je zkoumána vnější i vnitřní charakteristika spolu s četností výskytu či aktivitou postav v ději.

Abstract (in English)

Due to the expansion of the old Czech literary production during the 14th century, the Luxembourg era in the Czech lands is characterized by a large number of literary monuments. While creating their texts, medieval authors followed established rules which were reflected not only in the individual literary genres but also in the types of characters depicted. The study focuses on women and the possible ways of describing them, all with emphasis on virgins, wives, and widows. For these categories, external and internal characteristics are examined, while the characters' appearance or activity in the plot is not omitted.
