Abstract

Der Beitrag widmet sich den Oratorien zum Gedenken an den heiligen Johannes von Nepomuk, die der Orden der Karmeliter Barfüßer in Wien im 18. Jahrhundert. Es werden die Autoren der Libretti und der Musik vorgestellt, das Charakter der Texte beschrieben und mögliche Strategien für die Vertonung der erhaltenen Texte aufgezeigt.

Příspěvek je věnován oratoriím provedeným k uctění památky sv. Jana Nepomuckého řádem bosých karmelitánů ve Vídni v 18. století. Jsou uvedeni autoři libret a hudby, charakterizována povaha libret a představeny možné strategie při zhudebnění dochovaných textů.

Abstract (in English)

The paper is devoted to the oratories performed to commemorate the memory of St. John of Nepomuk by the Order of the Carmelites in Vienna in the 18th century. The authors of the libretti and music are introduced, the character of the libretti is characterized and possible strategies for setting the surviving texts to music are presented.
