Forty ethanolic extracts from different parts (leaves, twigs, bark, roots) of ten Ficus species have been prepared and subjected to HPLC-DAD analysis. The presence of prenylated flavonoids and coumarins has been detected. On the other hand, many extracts did not contain any substances absorbing UV irradiation.
